Schibsted Tech Polska was established in the beginning of 2012. Today the company has 150 employees in two locations: Krakow (main office) and Gdansk.

Schibsted Tech Polska is wholly owned by Schibsted Norge, the Norwegian division of Schibsted Media Group.

Our mission is to help our partner companies succeed in their digital transformation.Schibsted Tech Polska is a programming hub. Almost all of our employees are software engineers – and part of long-term development teams working for one of our 19 partner companies in Norway and Sweden.

With a couple of exceptions, all partner companies are part of Schibsted Media Group. They include the biggest media houses in Norway and Sweden, a very successful classified ads site and several other companies.

The development teams in Poland work closely on daily basis with product owners – and sometimes other roles – in Scandinavia.

Opis stanowiska:

We believe that young programmers are a vital support for our internal team, thus we will give you your own tasks and a senior mentor who will guide you through the whole eight weeks of your training. What is more, we will pay for your work. With us you will certainly improve different professional skills, starting with business English, through web and mobile development and finishing with practical experience in AGILE managed software development. Your progress will be evaluated midway and at the end of program.

WHEN?

Internship Program is 2 months long starting in July. You need to apply between March 9th and April 19th, best candidates will be invited to take part in technical and English language tests in May. If that goes well you can expect another invite – this time for an office interview (beginning of May). Offers will be extended in the last days of May.

WHERE?

Internship will take place in our offices in Kraków and Gdańsk. Each Intern also goes for a trip to headquarters in Norway!

WHAT?

2 months long, full-time, paid internship (2500 PLN gross – mandatory contract). Chance to work on real production-ready projects with great software developers.

Oczekujemy:

WHO?

We are looking for the best of those who:

Have passion for web development, mobile applications and/or frontend
Are known for JavaScript and HTML5 deep understanding (practical experience would be great!) or are Java geeks
Are English language speakers not afraid of working with Norwegian Product Owners
Are finishing university rather sooner than later (or being available for full time or 4/5 time job after holidays)
